Sash

Sash is a lovely short haired tortie of about 12 years old. This is the second time, through no fault of their own, that Sash and her brother Gizzy have been at the sanctuary. Sash is a good natured cat who likes children and getting attention. We hope that third time lucky Sash and Gizzy will find a new loving home that will be forever.
Gizzy

Gizzy is a lovely long haired black male. He is about 12 years old. This is the second time Gizzy and his sister Sash have been at the sanctuary through no fault of their own. Gizzy is a very friendly cat who loves attention. Now we hope that it will be 3rd time lucky and Gizzy and Sash will find a nice, loving home that will last forever.
Alan

Alan is a lovely 6 year old male, he is a big boy, mainly white with black on his ears. Alan is very friendly and loves to be stroked. Alan has had a difficult time recently and would now like to have a loving family of his own, preferably with older children.
Alan has been reserved.
Jeffery

Jeffery is a lovely 6 year old tabby & white male.
Jeffery is a very friendly, good natured cat who loves a fuss and a cuddle, he needs a loving home, and would be good with children. Jeffery likes being picked up and stroked.
Oscar

Oscar is a 3 year old black & white male. Oscar and his brother Elmo are looking for a new home because sadly their previous owner died.
Oscar is a good natured cat, but still a bit shy, he would not come out of his basket to have his photo taken. He loves cuddles and attention, he is good with children and other cats, and likes being picked up and stroked.
We would like Oscar and Elmo to be re-homed together.

Miranda

Miranda is a lovely 7 month old white and grey female. Due to domestic circumstances Miranda and her brother George were no longer wanted by their owners. They are both very sweet natured cats and like being picked up and stroked.
We want Mildred and George to be rehomed together.

Lady Marmalade

Lady Marmalade is a ginger & white female,of indeterminate age. As appropriate to her title she can sometimes be a bit of a madam, so would need a home with an experienced owner.
Cassie

Cassie is a tabby & white short-haired female.
Cassie is 10 years old and quite independent, like a lot of older ladies she likes things done to suit her mood.
Cassie would like a quiet home with no other cats.
Leah

Leah is a lovely dark tortie female. She is about 3 or 4 years old. She is friendly, and likes being stroked. She would suit a family with older children as she can sometimes be naughty!!
Pepsi

Pepsi is a lovely little short-haired black cat. She is 12 years old and came to us with her brother Max because they were no longer wanted. She is a friendly sweet natured cat but a little bit more timid than her brother. She would be good with children, she likes being picked up and stroked.

Max is a very handsome black long-haired male. He is 12 years old and came to us with his sister Pepsi because they were no longer wanted. He is very friendly and good natured. He would be good with children and likes being picked up and stroked.

Phoebe

Phoebe is a 16 year old female Tabby, she came to us because her owners moved house and were unable to take her with them.
Phoebe lost a front leg many years ago in a road traffic accident but she manages very well on her remaining 3 legs.
She is very independant and likes to do her own thing but she does sometimes like a cuddle. She would be better in a house with older children.
Icicle

Icicle is a very pretty little white & black female, she is about 6 months old. Icicle was dumped at our gate in a box just a couple of weeks before Christmas. We do not know what experiences she may have had but she is currently quite shy but has shown (when she was being fostered) that she does come out of her shell in a home and given time she will come round.
Julie

Poor Julie was rescued from the roof of the Stanneylands Hotel where she had gone to give birth to 4 kittens. Thankfully mother and kittens all survived. Julie is 2 or 3 years old and is tabby & white, she is very very quiet and still a bit timid, not surprising after her experience. Julie now needs a loving home, she would be better with older children.

Angel

Angel is a lovely tortie & white female. She is between 10 & 12 years old. She is friendly but can sometimes be a little grumpy, but can't we all at that age.
Jack

Jack is a very handsome 10 year old ex race horse who stands at 15 hands high. He was sent to be put to sleep as he was no longer wanted, but the knackerman refused and so he came to us, he has been at the sanctuary now for about 5 years. Jack has a lovely nature but can be a bit cheeky, he also has a tendancy to weave when he is in his stall. He is lovely to ride and loves being schooled. Jack needs to go to an experienced home with someone who will have more time to bring him on.
Guinea Pigs

At the Sanctuary we currently have 8 Guinea Pigs, 2 boys and 6 girls, of various descriptions, who would all love a new home.
Celine

Celine is a 4 year old albino.
We have had Celine and her sister Kylie since they were 8 weeks old when their owners became overwhelmed. Celine must be rehomed with her sister Kylie to a confident owner as they can be a little cheeky.

Tarka is a 4 year old brown & cream ferret. She was rehomed about 3 years ago but sadly had to come back to us. Tarka is a feisty character but she loves to play and must be rehomed with her friend Snowball.
