Next Collection
We will be having a collection to raise much needed funds for the sanctuary on Saturday June 5th at Pets at Home in Macclesfield. We will be there with two donkeys from 11am till 3pm. If you are out shopping or just in the area next Saturday it would be lovely to see you.
The Humane Education Society
The Humane Education Society was established in Manchester in 1927. A move to Wilmslow in the late sixties enabled the creation of the Society’s own Animal Sanctuary.
The founding members were passionate about helping people, especially the young and disadvantaged, develop a generous and compassionate character by a deeper understanding and compassion for animals, which would in turn benefit the whole of society.
How you can help
The Animal Sanctuary at Newgate, Wilmslow offers a safe haven for unwanted animals. With your help this dedicated facility can stay open and remain something our local area can be proud of.
